Jo was recently featured in Cornwall Life’s Leading Ladies article and had this to say:

Jo studied Fashion Marketing and worked for various Luxury Brands in London, before moving to Cornwall and setting up Jo&Co Home. Since opening its doors in 2014, Jo&Co has grown to include a Lifestyle Store, which is currently expanding, and a Furniture Showroom, along with an online store and a large online following, and there's still much more to come!

1. What’s been your biggest challenge – and how have you overcome it?

"My biggest challenge has been to balance being a mother with running my own business. I've now learned the power in feeling confident to say 'no' when I need to accept that I can only do my best in juggling the two."

2. What advice would you give to young women thinking about going into business?

"The advice I would give is to believe in yourself.  You are capable of so much more than you know. Building a successful business is a step-by-step process, don't expect overnight success, and take time out to enjoy each day and challenge as it comes."

"Always be open to advice from others, as someone else's experience can be vital to your success."

 3. Where do you see yourself in five years’ time?

"I strongly believe in living day by day, and not setting myself unrealistic goals. I couldn't say where I see myself in 5 years time, but I do know that I want to be healthy and happy. In terms of the business, I want to continue to make Jo&Co a lovely place to work, and to provide a little piece of zen for our customers to visit."
